I am a trained and experienced nursery school teacher. In February 2025 I have started teaching Luxembourgish at Ecole Vauban in Luxembourg. I was teaching German at two German Saturday schools in the UK for many years and have a Bachelor qualification in Social Work. I work as a Language tutor since July 2017.
I have over 20 years of experience working with and interacting with bilingual children. I have worked for over 10 years as a nursery school teacher in Luxembourg and an additional three years in London (two of those as a nursery manager).
I teach online, also very small children and adapt the time and way of teaching to the age, abilities, skills and interests of my students.
Given I have spent significant time working with bilingual children and I use my languages nearly every day, I understand the thought process in a bilingual child/adult and why it might be very challenging sometimes.
